In recent years, we have explored various ways to make consumption and production as responsible as possible. From large companies to consumers, the imperative is clear: adopt an ecological approach, respect the environment, and reduce plastic consumption. For this reason, our team has decided to introduce Aerelle Blue fiber.
According to recent research, although plastic is a recyclable material, poor management by humans has led to a significant increase in global pollution, particularly in water bodies. It is even estimated that by 2050, if trends don’t change, there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans. Therefore, in addition to raising awareness and promoting eco-conscious behaviors, it is crucial to drastically reduce plastic production. We have added a completely new fiber to our product range: Aerelle Blue, made by recycling plastic. The durability of this padding, combined with its softness, is one of the quality aspects that convinced us the most.
The plastic used comes from Plastic Bank, an accredited global organization that helps developing communities create a better future. Through plastic collection managed by Plastic Bank, many materials that would otherwise go to waste are repurposed to create useful and high-performance products, reducing ocean pollution. This is undoubtedly a visionary project, and we are proud to be part of it, confident that soon many companies, like ours, will join the initiative, incorporating more and more eco-friendly variants.
